Side Effects of Conan O'Brien's Ad-lib

LOL! I can't believe this happened, but it might be true.

In a previous episode of Conan O'Brien, he had a sketch for wacky college football mascots. One of them was a horny manatee on a web cam. At the end of that particular mascot, Conan ad-libbed that there was a www.hornymanatee.com.

In the episode aired tonight, Conan recapped that particular segment and explained that there was this policy that if you mentioned a website on air, even if it was a joke, it had to exist. Due to this policy, NBC had to buy the rights to www.hornymanatee.com!

Is it a sketch too? IDC, the thought of it even possibly being true is hilarious enough!
